Anton LaVey, the founder of The Church of Satan was essentially a hedonist and an Atheist himself.

Buffy, i'm surprised at you. While i don't by any means consider myself a follower of his, LaVey makes some VERY astute points about current christianity and his philosophy had more to do with a rationalistic, hedonistic outlook on life and culture than any so-called "Worship of the Devil". There is so much misinformation about Satanism it isn't funny.
