Would you agree that Methodist spiritual lineage comes from Moravians? I know about John Wesley and the Moravians he met, but he was part of the Anglican church. Also the Methodist Church my ancestors help to found in Blackhawk, Wi was originally a Church of the Brethren I believe, before it became EUB and then UMC.

Luther himself addmitted to being a Hussite when pressed on the issue by superiors within the (then Catholic) Church.
But seriously, subscribing to the Augsburg confession makes the Moravians closely tied to Lutheranism, since the AC was the the document where the Lutherans responded to a request from the Emperor to explain the fundamental doctrines of their Church. By subscribing to them the Moravians are essentially saying, "us too"
