3. I did my time doing retail work
Never again. :scared: Besides, if I wrapped presents for hours at a time I probably woudn't enjoy it anymore, you know?

I do need to get started on my holiday baking today. Hopefully I can get some canned pumpkin on sale someplace so I can get gome pumpkin bread in the oven.

4. I like shopping, but I hate shoppers.
I like to browse and find things, especially a good deal. However, I generally dislike other shoppers, especially people that are rude to workers, hit my cart with their cart, or that allow their children to run in front of my cart or put their hands on my things.

I bought some popcorn at Target and put it in my basket to eat later. Some toddler waddles up to me and sticks her fist in my popcorn! I thought the girl was cute, but I was shocked and gently moved the basket away from her. Her mom steps all over the popcorn her daughter spilled, grabs the kid, and then proceeds to yell at me for having something her daughter wants in my basket. :eyes:

5. I like to shop, but not when it's so crowded.
I usually finish most of my shopping before Thanksgiving because I work in retail.

6. I used to love it, before I hated it :)
I think commercialism turned me off years ago, when the holiday season didn't "start" until after Thanksgiving! Now, all the big box stores have their displays up in SEPTEMBER !

Now I shop in thrift stores that support worthwhile causes, it's fun, ya find great "stuff" and it puts the money where my heart is :)
