1. Hmmm, boycott a cancer charity?
I'm wondering if what you heard was advertising time paid for by them, or if it was donated by the station.

2. Does it matter if the time was given freely?
Exactly how many radio shows are available that the foundation could have approached? Without sponsors, shows like Hannity go off the air.

I have donated to this charity in the past. In fact, I just received their latest solicitation yesterday. I have just sent an e-mail to them telling them I will not support them as long as they have anything to do with Hannity.

Why in the hell should I give to any charity when there's even a chance my dollars are being used to buy airtime on right-wing hate radio shows?

3. It only matters if they don't know about it.
Having a degree of familiarity with these things, I can say it's entirely plausible that the station donated the airtime and dropped the spot into their schedule wherever there was time available.

You're doing exactly the right thing by letting them know you heard it and that you don't want your donations paying for airtime on Hannity. If you just threw out the solicitation, you would deny them an opportunity to tell you whether they paid for the airtime, or specifically asked to be on Hannity's show.

Of course, if they deny either or both, it's up to you to decide whether to believe them! But I applaud you for giving them a chance to state their case.
