Today was like the perfect day here in Hawaii
The high was 84 degrees and the low was 76 degrees. The sun was out, and there was no rain. The surf on the North and East Shores were 20-25 ft. However, it did destroy some beachside property.

3. That's the reason I'm moving back
Though in all seriousness I love winter and snow and ice (really, I do!! I hate summer), the forever perfect days of Hawaii - not too hot, not too cold, not so humid, mostly always so wonderfully breezy, adn the smell of the flowers and the good nature of the peple and the beauty of the 'aina and the aloha and the talkin' story and the Manoa Manapua Factory and Kailua beach and Kiluea and driving out Ewa and the north shore and hiking makapuu and the aiea trail and . . .

yeah, I miss it.

4. Are you from Hawaii?
or you stayed here a long time? Just to warn you, we have a Republican governor. However, she is probably the most liberal Republican governor in the nation, yet, not as liberal as Chafee. She is also Jewish, a rarity in the Republican party. She even had people from the Log Cabin Republicans come to talk here.

So far, she has been doing alright, but I am a little concerned about her stances on the environment.

What is also kind of scary is that all the disaffected whites from Texas and Orange County have started to move here and are kind of rasing a din. They also have a lot of money, so I hope they don't pull any strings.

5. Wow - pisser about the idiot f---ing Texans and Orange County-uns
moving in. That's the last thing that Hawai'i needs is some idiot racist morans. I know the Gov. is a Jewish woman, which really surprised the bejeezus out of me (that a Jew would be allowed in the repuke party, and would want to be in the repuke party, and that, given that the pop. of Hawaii is like 72 Jews out of 1.5 million people, just the fact that a jew could make it to governor is amazing).

I was not physically born in Hawaii, but my 'aina hanau is Hawai'i, the 'aina.
