Why would people want to smell dog paws in the first place? |

My boxer was being playful with me and put his paws on my chest. He looked so cute wagging his little nub tail and I leaned over to give him a hug (he likes hugs) and there is was.....we were face to paw.
I had a lab for 12 years (RIP) and I somehow remember that from him too.
You don't set out to sniff the paw. It just happens.
