For the auto parts experts - getting rid of an engine
Edited on Sat Nov-22-03 04:18 AM by fortyfeetunder
The spouse kept the original engine to a Chrysler product after it blew a rod, thinking he was going to rebuild it. NOT. Well, 13 years later, the engine is still in the garage, and the spouse has moved on to another ride. I want my garage space back.

Can anyone give me clues how to get rid of this thing, or business who would come and pick it up? It's in the back part of the garage, meaning I'd have to find a winch to pull it out.

Thanks much!!!!

note: edited a typo!

3. Call a salvage yard.
I'm sure they would come pick it up. They'll probably even buy the engine from you.
