1. Yeah, I do ...

I see Microsoft has ramped up its war on Google.

That was a bit obnoxious. The UI leaves something to be desired.

It's also wrong, at least with my location. It has my street and one running parallel to it misnamed, and a connecting street it shows doesn't exist.

But, ya know, it's Microsoft. Gates and Co. hasn't had an original idea, ever, and their implementation of others' ideas tend to be poorer, but somehow, this will end up taking over.

2. With Google Earth, you can see buildings and landmarks...
with this piece of crap, it's a map. Woo. Goes to show that microsoft just SUCKS.

3. Saw this last Christmas.
It gets blurry at 30-40 feet. Imagine what the government has:scared: .

5. Better than google earth from what I've seen so far
at least compared to looking at our rural propety in Wisconsin. You can see trails and everything. way better, thanks for the link.

7. It does not show the subdivision of a friend of mine
as having more than some roads, and the houses are a little over a year and a half old:-( . MY house shows up ...

9. Yes I can see now its hit or miss
The image of the land I'm at shows old small logging trails that aren't even mapped. You can see just about every tree.

But then to see our house or where we keep the boat docked, the detail is not as good

11. This is just a reworked Terraserver
It depends on the region, sometimes it has slightly better aerial photos than Google Earth, somtimes it has worse. Not all areas have the 3D photos. The interface is still very clunky compared to Google Earth.

12. I like the MS version better...
..than Google Earth on the web. But neither web version matches up to the stand alone, downloadable Google Earth.
