the series was never the same after his death. he provided voices to countless minor characters and a few more important ones that spring to mind that weren't immediately integral to the storylines but at the same time they were irreplaceable . . . Lionel Hutz ("bad court-thingie"), Troy McLure ("Sure I love you! like I love Fresca!"), Lyle Langley ("you know a town with money's a little like the mule with a spinning wheel, no one knows how he got and DANGED if he knows how to use it!")
and let's not forget Newsradio!
