I don't like pickles on my burgers. Dammit!

So i go to McDonald's today - I know, evil of me, but I was in a fun mood after buying organic vegetables at the Union Square Green Market.... anyway, on the rare occasion I do McDonald's I get the McChicken, cuz I love 'em. At the Union Square McDonald's, though, the McChickens aren't on the dollar menu, so I got me a double cheeseburger. I awlays have them without pickles, though. Have since I was a child, and realized at age 5 or so that I really hate pickles on my burgers. But today, I thought, "It's been 32-or so years, maybe I oughtta give pickles a try again". So I did.

And I was right. I don't like pickles on burgers. Yucko!

I like burgers. I like pickles. But they should not have residence in the same food unit.

You know what pickles I really like? The huge ones, that are the whole largish cucumbers, that come in the five-gallon pails, like 1.5 inches in diameter, and 5-6 inches long. (and no, nothing sexual about it).

Love onions on burgers - raw, sauteed, doesn't matter. ove 'em! White, red, yellow.

Also like cheese (either swiss or bleu are my faves, but others work, too), mushrooms, bacon, mustard, ketchup. I'll do lettuce on a burger, but only if it comes with the lettuce all wrapped into it already.

And I don't like tomatoes on my burgers, either. Should have added that to the first post.

otherwise, most anything is fair game. Jalapenos, too.
