Also goes for body piercings. I got kicked out by the Red Cross for a year because of my throat piercing. But when you think about it, it does make sense.

2. Absolutely makes sense |
|
The bloodbanks cannot possibly keep track of the sanitary conditions of the piercing and tat places.
I am on a permanent ban...I had lymphoma...no donating for me.

I watched my sister die of lymphatic cancer. Yeah, you do get banned for having had chemo or for having survived cancer. And it does make sense.
I never knew that about you. But thank the gods you survived to be the qirl we all love and want to spank :)

no recurrences!
But I am at risk for other types of cancers, because of the treatment. I figure every day above ground is a good one!

6. I don't think "having too many tats" is relevant to that, though... |
|
It only takes one, right?
Of course, to me, one is too many, but it's a free country, and I know a lot of really nice tattooed folks...

9. Actually, my dear KW..... |
|
The rules on tatoos have been changed.......
NOW, if you get a tatoo, and can tell the health historian (the person questioning you) that the tatoo parlor is licensed, then it is OK...
I believe that every state has rules about this, and the Red Cross is aware of those rules...
So things are different now......
