1. Cool!
I live in Burbank but didn't know about this place until the discussions about where to meet around Halloween (when booberdawg was in town). Sounds great -- and good that it's on a weekend. Will try and make it!

2. I didn't know about it either!
But I checked it out last weekend and it's a good place. Excellent margaritas and low-key - not flashy.

3. Good margs = good evening
And easy to talk there? Not too loud? Sounds like good music anyway ...

4. I haven't seen it in full swing
I was there last Sunday. I'm not a big fan of country music - from what I understand they play a variety, but either way, I don't think it will be too loud for us out on the patio.

on edit: I'll get all those pics ready in the next couple days and coordinate with flamingyouth to get them posted. I'm just chillin' and restin' for a couple days first. Reading a book tonight, actually.

7. But at least it's seasonal, Booberdawg!
That's one thing I hate about California -- no seasons (well, two: heat and rain). Wish I could pull my sweaters out of storage but it's still too warm (aarggggh!). Wish I could have made it to El Coyote -- hope you enjoyed your stay!

9. Oh boy LSparkle,
You'll have to sit next to my husband at Viva Cantina...the two of you can wax poetic about the four seasons. I'm sick of hearing it!

I love California and what do you mean we don't have four seasons? We have summer, fall-summer, winter-summer, and spring-summer!

And don't forget to add WIND to your list (heat, rain and wind) as we're experiencing this weekend. Last night I barely got any sleep with the wind throwing things around upstairs on our patio - one planter blew off the ledge and smashed to bits and our poor rabbits were pretty freaked out.

Anyway....I'm sure the surfers are happy with those 7 footers.

13. Oh, fuck the 4 seasons and your sweaters in storage, LOL!
Asshole! :D

The first 2 years my dad lived in San Diego, he used to call me on days the weather took a shit here just to tell me it got so cold in San Diego he had to wear socks that day.

There is snow on the ground as I write this, and I could do WITHOUT this.

I probably met between 40 to 50 DUers while I was out there between San Diego and Los Angeles - wish I could have met you too.

El Coyote was a rip! Found out the next day they were serving doubles. That explains why I couldn't find my ass with both hands when I walked outta there that night.

20. I'm in NoHo, too...
Unfortunately, I'll be knee-deep in my first set of law school finals and probably won't be able to make it. DAMN!! Maybe after the first of the year when the semester is slow somebody else will organize a get-together.

On second thought, maybe I WILL need a break by then. Bin me as a "maybe."

23. Hey all,
After the fab time at El Coyote, how could I resist? My wife and I are moving on the 11th, so a final farewell to all the LA DUer's I've met and have yet to meet, it would be a great way to end my stay here in So Cal.. 99% there! barring any last minute disasters...:)
