Do you know where the states are? (Yes - it's a test) |
Take the third grade test. http://www.pibmug.com/files/map_test.swfI'm OK except for New Hampshire and Vermont...I never can remember which side is which...

2. I don't know why, but I've always confused Wisconsin and Minnesota. |
I'm a college professor, and yet ever since I was a kid I've gotten the two mixed up. Ever single other state I can put in place correctly, but those two always make me scratch my head. I did the same thing with Iowa and Ohio until I was in HS, but that one finally self-corrected.

3. Vermont is the one that borders on NY |
there wasn't even supposed to be a Vermont, except the governor of NH sold alot of land to people from Connecticut, except it was land in NY which the NH governor had no right to sell. This was before the Revolution. After the Revolution, one of the early Congresses passed a law abolishing the state of Vermont, but General Washington refused to enforce it. Vermont's Green Mountain Boys were experienced fighters, and would be especially formidable in their own woods.
