Bush provides unfiltered evidence of infrastructure building progress
Edited on Sun Nov-23-03 09:43 AM by buycitgo
In a press conference organized with local media to bypass what he calls a "news filter" which only reports on the bad news in Iraq, such as daily American troop casualties, president Bush hoisted a symbol of what he calls the unreported signs of progress in his rebuilding of Iraq that Americans don't get to see. Taking advantage of a donated pallet of expired Toilet Duck brand toilet bowl cleaners to the rebuilding effort, president Bush held up a duck and firmly stated,

"I hold here a sign of progress, progress in Baghdad. This little Duck doesn't just represent clean toilets, it represents freedom."

Bush then read a thank you letter written by an Iraqi recipient of the windfall gift of toilet cleansers from America.

"I love my toilet duck. It comes with different fragrances and the bottles are different colors," says Saiid "Kenny" Huusan of Baghdad. "There is 750ml in a bottle. Toilet duck active provides a complete hygiene product for you toilet and leaves it really clean and smelling really nice above the water line. Thank you George Bush! When there is water in my toilet again I will have the clean bowl." Bush wiped a small tear away from his eyes as he cleared his throat and took his reading glasses off.

Bush also touted his success in the recent opening of the new George Bush II middle school, converted from a building that housed a former middle school and also staffed with teachers from the previous middle school. "It is now open, thanks to America and its freedom."

"Scientists have unearthed a 160,000-year-old human skull near Sturgis, South Dakota, that is the oldest known and possibly the best-preserved fossil of modern humans' immediate predecessors.

The nearly complete skull of an adult male represents a crucial stage of human evolution when modern bikers first arose. It is important because many deem bikers as the missing link between early apes and modern humans.

Discovered in South Dakota's fossil-rich highways and freeways, the skull has vaguely modern biker features - a prominent beard, thick jaw and reduced brain cavity - that contrast with older bikers' projecting, heavy-browed skulls."
