WTF there's no Tieing in smallball-(The President's Cup)
So Davis Love chokes on 18 and tiger and Ernie have to go head to head. They are still all square after two sudden death holes and it is too dark to play.

Captains Nicklaus and Player get together and agree to call it a tie. Then Jack mentions that the US should retain the cup as they HELD the cup and did not lose. Suddenly the feel good situation falls apart and Player (who I really like and admire) doesn't agree. Els chimes in that he wants to still play, tomorrow maybe. Nicklaus says it is a team event and that instead of two people deciding it all 12 players on each side should come back and play tomorrow. Jack calls his team together and someone apparently didn't want to stay in South Africa. So they end up deciding that they will SHARE the cup until they play again in two years.

WTF I thought it was a competition?!?!? It's not like everyone of those guys doesn't have his own plane and can go anywhere they want to at any time.
