I am a big peanuts fan. It just is not the holidays without the Charlie Brown specials.

C-Span they are debating about the Medicare Bill and the future of America....make no mistake about it..this is not just about Medicare, but whether Bush wins or loses. I understand that at least 9 Dems are going to vote with the pubs on this one, and I am extremely sad to report that my own Independent Senator, Jim Jeffords, will also vote in the affirmative.
I love Charlie Brown...and Winnie the Pooh too...especially "Tigger Too", and so does my grandaughter, but right now I am more concerned about her future because of what is going on in the Senate, as we speak, than Charlie, Winnie, or all the rest of "make believe"!!
We are about to lose another major battle and I fear that Winnie or Pooh or even Tigger can change the eventual result. I was a member of AARP until today...I have been sold out as a member of that organization, and I have been sold out by my party !!
I am tired from the conflict, and I worry about my grandaughter's future and last weekend I lost my Godson in Iraq. Enough is enough and I am considering moving my family to Canada where my heritage lies.
There may be no Charlie Brown..or Pooh..or Tigger, there, but my grandaughter will be safer and as I continue to age, at least my needed medications will be cheaper.
