Sigh... had my last lunch at "Cute waitress's" restaurant.
I had pesto penne with Garlic bread. We exchanged our usual uneasy smiles all throughout my presences there. then as I paid the bill, we discussed Internet banking and she said it scared her. I told her once you get the hang of it, it's really cool. Then we exchange one last set of smiles and giggles. And I left.
Man, I will miss cute waitress, who I never asked out.

8. LOL. That's a good source of consolation!
Sounds like the kind of thought that one has on their way to entering a monastic order.

12. How far are you gonna be away from her?
If it isn't far, you should give her your email and tell her to keep in touch.

14. Just remember,
no matter how pretty she is, someone is sick and tired of putting up with her crap.

Sorry, I got that out of an email somewhere. I use it on my husband when we see a good looking girl; we'll both say how hot she is and stare for a minute, then I'll say "yeah, but someone somewhere is sick of her" and we both laugh and go on our way.
Hey, it helps us not dwell on the fact that she'd freak out if we asked her to come home with us.

17. I know
At least I like to think so. But in podunk Kansas, they're few and far between. And usually part of a couple, which isn't necessarily bad; it's just that, bluntly, *I* want only a girl for once.

:hi:

15. you still have time
what are you doing? Do you like her? Do you think she likes you?

She
May be the face I can't forget
The trace of pleasure or regret
May be my treasure or the price I have to pay
She
May be the song that summer sings
May be the chill that autumn brings
May be a hundred different things
Within the measure of a day

She
May be the beauty or the beast
May be the famine or the feast
May turn each day into a heaven or a hell
She may be the mirror of my dreams
The smile reflected in a stream
She may not be what she may seem
Inside her shell

She
Who always seems so happy in a crowd
Whose eyes can be so private and so proud
No one's allowed to see them when they cry
She
May be the love that cannot hope to last
May come to me from shadows of the past
That I'll remember till the day I die

She
May be the reason I survive
The why and wherefore I'm alive
The one I'll care for through the rough in ready years
Me
I'll take her laughter and her tears
And make them all my souvenirs
For where she goes I've got to be
The meaning of my life is

She
She, oh she
