Today on Oprah
It's "My Favorite Things" day, and the audience members are all getting swag. Either that, or it's a tape. I'd rather not hang around to find out.

So far: Burberry's coats, iPods, tins of popcorn supposedly worth $117 each, and some other stuff I already forgot.

1. This is the only time I would be willing to attend a taping of Oprah
The audience gets like $1000 worth of gifts

3. Yeah, that's what I thought.
It's just a tin of popcorn. She says that it holds seventeen pounds, but the stuff is 99 cents for a two-pound bag at the grocery store.

Wait a minute - she just handed out sweaters. The aforementioned iPod is a video iPod, if you want to crash the taping. I guess it was a while ago, so tough luck.

The audience members seem to have fared badly during Hurricane Katrina. They're getting more from Oprah than they ever would from FEMA or Bu$h.

4. Oprah may be an attention whore
But she's a good hearted attention whore.

6. She seems like a nice lady
but her show makes me uncomfortable. Too much group think. Every time she says something they show the audience nodding in agreement. That kind of freaks me out.

5. It's not on here yet, but it must be a rerun; it was on last month.

7. Oh, dear.
This is what I get for not being a regular Oprah viewer. Thanks. The goodies were probably sold off on eBay weeks ago.
