Bush 'triple dog dares' Americans to impeach him. |
|
In what is apparently an effort to win a bar bet, White House resident George W. Bush will go back on television this evening and "triple dog dare" Americans to impeach him. According to insiders who are familiar with the terms of the bar bet, Bush bet a fellow patron that he could do all of the following impeachable offenses WITHOUT being impeached: - punish truth-teller Joe Wilson by blowing his wife's CIA cover (treason) - admit to violating the 4th Amendment by authorizing wire taps without oversight (violation of Oath of Office) - conduct an illegal war for 4 years, admit that it was started based on bogus intelligence and yet demand that troops "stay the course" (violation of Title 14) - triple dog dare Americans to impeach him on national TV Justin Andres, an 8th grader in Arlington VA and expert on dares says "the 'triple dog dare' is the highest level of dare. There is no dare greater. Only a major wuss would not do something he was triple dog dared to do." Scott McLelland, White House spokesperson, said, "your idea that Bush is trying to out Nixon Nixon without getting impeached is based solely on speculation at this point." # # #
