After the girl and I stopped hanging out as much, I stopped hanging out with him.

But we had some good times. It's so crazy how, at least in my case, I hang out with certain people for a long time, you really bond, and then you stop hanging out, for no reason. You just get busy, move on to other things, change jobs, move, etc.... Something like a death really puts somethings in perspective.

20. Fed Up.

Waiting for 8 to roll around so I can put the kids to bed and hubby will be home. They were total little snots today - 4 yr old wouldnt stop tormenting his sister, she kept peeing her pants and trying to take down my tree, then the mouthing back started with my 4 yr old. Had to stay down my moms today because the plasters were here plastering my addition and I didnt want the 4 month old who was already cranky as shit around the fumes.

Ugh. To make matters worse, I had to put the dog in the basement today because if I let her up here with the workers, she'll be up their asses all day and they'll get annoyed. Not to mention dog hair in wet plaster doesnt work. Well.. the dog left 3 nice big piles on my floor and ate kitty bombs out of the cat box. My 4 yr old broke my camera which I just spent 175 on to get repaired :mad: .

I think I'm going for a bath after I get them in bed. I need a nice long relaxing hot bath after this day. I get to experience it again tomorrow BUT the kids go to school for 3 hours! Thank god its only taking 2 days for the plastering.

Some of the situations we find ourselves in are so ABSURD! Just the other day, I was picking clothes off the floor, and here comes my kitty. She leaps onto my back, which is at en exact parallel to the floor, and INSTANTLY settles herself in. She got cozy really fast, groomed herself for a minute and decided to go to sleep.

I was like, "How do I surprise this cat/ let her know she's not the center of the universe?"

I know a dynamite product when I see one. Get the facts on copyrighting those images, there isn't much to doing that (actually just being posted here establishes your ownership, I think.)

Whoa! I am knocked out by these things. Imagine being able to slap one of those on your fridge to entertain yourself and your friends or your family. You can buy magnets that you can apply your own image to them. They're made business-card size and it's easy to do, so it isn't like you need a whole production set-up to do this.

Some of them need a bit more touching up to convey the emotion, so get with your friends for input, but Lord Have Mercy, these are great.

I REALLY appreciate what you just said! It's not even 6 am here and I have this huge grin on my face. The images on that page were all taken from a comic strip I had published for 2 and a half years, and from my sketchbook.

I do graphic design now but recently became obssessed with doing my comic strip again. It's not as much "Work" for me as it is total FUN. I'd love to market these babies, like you said. And I may have to frame it in a way that isn't a comic strip but rather something else.

I found a book I've had for years, so maybe there's a better one out there, but it's called Patents, Copyrights and Trademarks, by Frank H. Foster and Robert L. Shook.

Go for it, girl. You might even think about starting a greeting card line. Let me know when you do, if you do. A friend of mine carries greeting cards by unique artists. :)
