Every time I think I have an insight, something profound |
|
raging around in my head that I just have to share with the world, I see a movie, or read a book that just blows me away, that pounds me back so hard and strong that I never ever think I will be able to write another sentence, compose a paragraph of any worth....
Well that happened tonight... I was totally caught of gaurd... All the critics said this particular movie that I watched was nothing special, mawkish was the word that came to mind....
But still...
I watched it anyway...
Because I trust James Brooks...
And I recommend Spanglish...
The movie was so dense, so many intertwining plots, and everything was a mess... people had flaws, character traits that prohibited them from doing what they wanted and forced them to do things that they had to do...
Two worlds, two families brought together by circumstance...
A wonderful script...
Watch it and revel in your humanity...

But that's what it's all about...
You have to smell the armpit in order to enjoy the roses...

3. What I saw of it was excellent |
|
I missed the last half hour or so because I had to leave for work. One day I'm going to have to see the whole thing, whenever I get the chance.
