You were right.. I was wrong. Damn! I hate that!

A while back I wrote asking advice about a younger man who was hitting on me. Me being a married mid-forties person. Did I listen to you? Most (except for a few really creative replies) were in favor of telling him to hit the road. Did I listen? Did I take to heart the eloquent (stench of scorched cat fur) comments in regard to letting something like that continue? No. Of course not. I'm a human. I stupid human.

Nothing really happened. But the conversations got more intense.. much more intense. I finally told him to hit the road today, and though it's the right.. and noble thing.. if I had told him to go away last month, when you advised me to, I wouldn't be so bummed out right now. I'm bummed because I started to develop warm and fuzzy feelings for him. Bad

How stupid am I?????
