Music suggestions needed... |
|
I'm about to head back to the frigid midwest for 10 days and my iPod needs some serious updating. But I'm kind of at a loss. Anyone got some good music suggestions?
I like pretty much any kind of music (except country!) and really want to try new things, so any genre is fair game.

4. The Vee Jay Records Box |
|
Stumbled onto it at the library. Three discs of seminal music from the down of the rock era. Vee Jay was the prototype for Motown, a label owned by African-Americans. It even features Jimi Hendrix performing on a Little Richard ballad

so that I would get a good variety of answers. But at the moment I seem to be listening to lots of the Modest Mouse/Death Cab type music as well as a lot of hip hop. Hence the request for something new to listen to. ;)

Although mainly what I've been listening to in that regard is greatest hits comps and box sets. If you want some suggestions, I can help you out.
