Well, if there were ever a song titled "Fascist Traitor Cokehead AWOL Drunk Murderer Blues", that'd be his song.

20. I don't know if this counts
It's not a song but didn't Nine Inch Nails have an album called "Downward Spiral" a few years ago? Couldn't think of a better description of the way things are going.

Edited on Mon Nov-24-03 02:12 AM by BringEmOn
Lordy, I have loved some ladies
and I have loved Jim Beam
and they both tried to kill me
in 1973
when that doctor asked me
Son how did you get in this condition
I said hey sawbones I'm just carryin on
an old family tradition

So don't ask me Hank
why do you drink?
(Hank) why do you roll smoke?
Why must you live out the songs you wrote?
Stop and think it over
Try and put yourself in my unique position
If I get stoned and sing all night long
It's a family tradition!

Hank Williams, Jr.

11. In the Flesh -- Pink Floyd
So ya
Thought ya
Might like to
go to the show
To feel the warm thrill of confusion
That space cadet glow
I've got some bad news for you sunshine
Pink isn't well he stayed back at the hotel
And they sent us along as a surrogate band
And we're going to find out where you fans
Really stand
Are there any queers in the theatre tonight
Get 'em up against the wall
That one looks Jewish
And that one's a coon
Who let all this riff raff into the room
There's one smoking a joint and
Another with spots
If I had my way I'd have all of you shot

Piggies

"Have you seen the little piggies crawling in the dirt ?
And for all the little piggies, life is getting worse
Always having dirt to play around in

Have you seen the bigger piggies in their starched white shirts ?
You will find the bigger piggies stirring up the dirt
Always have clean shirts to play around in

In their sties with all their backing
They don't care what goes on around
In their eyes there's something lacking
What they need's a damn good whacking

Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives
You can see them out for dinner, with their piggy wives
Clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon"

The last verses especially fitting. Don't you think?

13. Masters Of War
Come you masters of war, you that build all the guns
You that build the death place, you that build all the guns
You that hide behind walls, you that hide behind desks
I just want you to know, I can see through your masks
You that never done nothing, but to build and destroy
You play with my world, like its your little toy
You put a drug in my head, then you hide from my eyes
And you turn and run following the fast foolish lie
Like Judas of old, you lie and deceive
A world war can be won, you won't need to believe
But I see through your eyes, and I see through your brain
Like I see through the water that runs down my drain
You that fasten all the triggers, for the others to fire
Then you sit back and watch, while the death count gets higher
You hide in your mansion, while young people's blood
Flows out their bodies and is buried in the mud
You've thrown the worst fear, that could ever be hurled
The fear to bring children, into this world
For threatenin' my baby, unborn and unnamed
You ain't worth the blood that runs in your veins
How much do I know, to talk out of turn?
You might say that I'm young, you might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know, though I'm younger than you
Even Jesus would never forgive what you do
Let me ask you one question, is your money that good?
Will it buy you forgiveness? Do you think that it could?
Oh, I think you will find, when your death takes its toll
All the money you made will never buy back your soul
And I hope that you die, and your death will come soon
I'll follow your casket, in the pale afternoon
And I'll watch as your lowered, into your deathbed
And I'll stand on your grave till I'm sure that your dead

23. "Bad To The Bone" and "Funky President (People It's Bad)"
George Thorogood - Bad To The Bone

On the day I was born
The nurses all gathered 'round
And they gazed in wide wonder
At the joy they had found
The head nurse spoke up
And she said "leave this one alone"
She could tell right away
That I was bad to the bone

Bad to the bone
Bad to the bone
B-B-B-B-Bad to the bone
B-B-B-B-Bad
B-B-B-B-Bad
Bad to the bone

The shrub IS "Bad to the Bone."

"Funky President (People It's Bad)"
by James Brown

People people, we gotta get over before we go under

Hey country, didn't say what you meant
Just changed -- brand new funky president

Stock market going up, jobs going down
And ain't no funking jobs to be found

Taxes keep going up
I changed from a glass -- now I drink out of a paper cup
It's gettin' bad

People people, we gotta get over before we go under

Listen to me:

Let's get together and get some land
Raise our food like the man
Save our money like the Mob
Put up a fight down on the job

People people, we gotta get over before we go under

Turn up your funk motor, get down and praise the Lord
Get sexy sexy, get funky and dance
Love me baby, love me nice
Don't make it once, can you make it twice
I like it

Turn on your funk motor, I know it's tough
Turn on your funk motor, until you get enough
Hey, give yourself a chance to come through
Tell yourself, "I can do what you can do"

People people, we gotta get over before we go under

Got to get together and buy some land
Raise our food just like the man
Save our money, do like the Mob
Put up a fight down on the job

People people, we gotta get over before we go under

Time in the joint
Country do you know just what I meant
We just changed
Got a brand new funky president

I need to be the mayor
So I can change some things around here
I need to be the governor
I need to be the governor...

It was originally written about Nixon but the sentiment fits Georgie Boy.

And in your dreams

I just can't believe you are such
A fool

38. towering fool, gov't mule
Yeah, somebody somewhere must have hurt you
You must have been really abused
A victim of your raising
Isn't that your excuse
Towering Fool

In a dream I watched you inflict yourself
On everyone within reach
Now frozen in time I see it still
Like a movie
How long has it been since you shook the hand
Of those who fell under your feet
And how long has it been since you washed yours clean
From the blood and the dirt of the street
Did you really think you could just fly away
Fly right out of those blues
Did you towering fool

Don't you know greatness comes to those who can hold it
Did it slip right through your hands
Did it brush your sleeve as it passed you by
Do you compare yourself now to then

All this pent up anger
Don't you feel alone ranger
Don't you towering fool

So you use every ounce of your energy
To keep those around you down
But there is a tear in the eye of the ring master
And a smile on the face of the clown
Yeah, you couldn't see through your own arrogance
To what the whole world already knew
You had to keep pushing it past the point
Till it all crumbled down on you
Didn't you towering fool

39. The I-95 song!
Edited on Mon Nov-24-03 04:41 PM by Hubert Flottz
Cause he's an asshole every night!

Well I was drivin' down I-95 the other night.
Somebody nearly cut me right off the road.
I decided it wasn't gonna do any good to get mad.
So I wrote a song about him instead.
It goes like this...

Were you born an asshole?
Or did you work at it your whole life?
Either way it worked out fine
'cause you're an asshole tonight.

Yes you're an A S S H O L E...
And don't you try to blame it on me.
You deserve all the credit.
You're an asshole tonight.

You were an asshole yesterday.
You're an asshole tonight.
And I've got a feelin'
you'll be an asshole the rest of your life.

And I was talkin' to your mother
just the other night.
I told her I thought you were an asshole.
She said, "Yes. I think you're right."

And all your friends are assholes
'cause you've known them your whole life.
And somebody told me
you've got an asshole for a wife.

Were you born an asshole?
Or did you work at it your whole life?
Either way it worked out fine
'cause you're an aaaass...hole tonight.
