So much for Ohio, Home of CLEVELAND, CHILLECOTHE, TOLEDO and other bright centers of the Known Universe.

Cedar Point ought to declare itself a State.

Oh, and by the way:

GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT, GLOAT!

2. Yeah, if they hadn't lost to OREGON
They might even be looking at a meaningful BCS bowl instead of providing background noise on New Year's Day.

But enough about all this semi-pro, football factory stuff; it's so distasteful. Let's get to the heart of college football, Division III, where they play for love of the game: No athletic scholarships, no fat TV contracts, no jock dorms or frats, no Heisman hype. Just young men who were tagged as too slow or too small or too something for Division I, who put on their pads, helmets and uniforms and play some of the best college football in the country, and who settle their championship on the field, rather than in the bowels of some computer in New York.

Linfield 31, Redlands 23

Next up: Linfield vs. Wartburg

3. I know what you mean-I went to a MAC school, which is Division 1, but
not one of the big conferences. My alma mater, Western Michigan, is not having a very good year. Most MAC guys don't go into the pros.

5. Actually, me too.
I hate this time of year not a holidays person. One of these November/Decembers I'm likely to eat a bullet. Not really, as long as there's single malt scotch.

I'm the one who commented about College Sports being Elitist Capitalist BS, except soccer of course, where my kid is likely to get a scholarship in Canada. Can we say, "Hypocrite of Convenience?"

I just got sick of all the "Piss on Ann Arbor" posts. I was Homeless in Ann Arbor from January 1974 to the last part of May 1974, and they have some generous strangers there.

Point of information: Chinese Restaurants DO NO re-serve leftovers: they pitch them with shocking regularity, and if you aren't too skeevy, they will let you wait and give you discards that are still hot.

6. Will Felonious Holmes be on the OSU bowl team?
He and his cohort should not have been playing.

Also, who was the guy who tried to twist Chris Perry's leg?
