Can you all come here and help me clean this friggin' house? I'm not motivated and I am having my annual new years party here and this place is a mess :hi:

2. Light the place on fire
The firehoses that arrive will clear out anything that's not bolted down.

I speak from experience.

5. Oh yeah, I remember that
I guess it would leave a seasonal smell around the house. Like chestnuts roasting on an open fire..or something.

10. Thank you for the link
But the point here is that I want to lay on the couch and watch TV as everyone else does the cleaning. It seems easier to me than actually doing the work myself.

7. New Year's? Hell it's only the 22nd...now is not the time to panic
When you get up on the 31st and realize you haven't started yet - THEN'S the time to panic!

11. True true
Then if you all can get here on the 31st, that will work too.

8. that seems odd
to clean your place just so it can be trashed by a drunken party on amateur night. I say eliminate the middle man - start the party in a trashed house.

13. That makes sense
Maybe I could just tell everyone that I had a pre-new years party and the house is still trashed from that.

15. Ha! Good one. I took tomorrow off to clean MY house
which is completely disgusting right now. I'm almost glad I'm at work so I don't have to see it.

17. Drats and curses! Here's a new plan:
How about this--We get up early, start cleaning our own houses. Then, whoever is done first has to help the other one out and bring booze over. Good booze. Not cheap stuff. It's The Holidays, dammit.

22. No no, see, you could still do nothing. Then, unsuspecting me
would clean and be done first and I'd be stuck totin' booze over and cleaning more. But now I'm onto you so you have to come up with your own sneaky plan.
