I may have another job!
Recruiter was very positive and certain about placing me and they are trying to set up an interview for tomorrow. I may be asked to come in and work next week!

Weeeewwww! That was fast. :) I did have to take a pay cut, but that was expected. :(

I even went back to the office and told my supervisor that I wanted to just take the the remaining week off using my leave time. Now I don't have to just sit there like a laid off loser!

Be happy for me!

3. i'm a student
and i won't have a real job with, um, acceptable salary for another 10 or so years(when i'll be ~32ish...)

anyway, i'm very happy for you and your new job! someones gotta work to pay taxes to help us professional students take out loans :p

4. Well it sounds like you're being educated well.
And that's a good thing. If I get with a good company that pays some education benefits, I might be able to afford to get my Masters Degree. I just bought a condo in a high priced area last year, so being out of work is a very stressful thing for me.
