Why would a G-rated cable package include Telemundo?

I just heard that Comcast is planning to offer a "G" rated package featuring Disney, Nickelodeon, and Telemundo

Telemundo? The tits-and-ass mostly-naked girl channel? The channel where even the newsreaders have huge boobs and plunging necklines?

Is this being done to appeal to nursing tots?

My S.O., who doesn't speak of word of Spanish, will sometimes watch Telemundo for hours on end sheerly for the T&A

4. Telemundo has all sorts of programs in one channel. It's strange.

The Hispanic (mostly Mexican) immigrants here in Northeast Georgia seem so very conservative (Catholic, large families, wife and kids at home), then I see Telemundo. Just try and explain El Sabado Gigante (Giant Staurday). That is some crazy stuff. The tits and ass ladies on Telemundo seem to be mostly European Mexicans. The immigrants in my area almost 100% part or mostly native American mixed with some Spanish.

It makes us wish we spoke Spanish.

We yell like little kids every time the Lion comes out to eat the bad singers. Not that's quality television!!!

We'll be sitting in a local Mexican restaurant, which broadcasts the spanish-language soap operas, and I'll notice S.O.'s eyes popping out of his head. Inevitably, I'll look at the TV and see something like a poor, dying millionaire and his hospital nurse, who is wearing a nurse's uniform only seen in porno videos, and who has a body likely to re-start even said millionaires severely damaged heart.....

6. I can understand the gist of what's happening on El Sabado Gigante

but, unfortunately, my four years of Cuban Spanish and a year of Latin are far behind me (1981) and faded in my memory. I never had anyone with whom to practice (except my strict Cuban Spanish teachers at a girls prep school). Now there is Spanish TV and there are Spanish speakers everywhere! I need to take a refresher course so I can remember my verbs and vocabulary.

My hubby loves the Telemundo TV hotties too! They are beautiful nd voluptuous with tiny outfits!

Yes, I've noticed, as a Latino male. For example, beauty pageants are much bigger in Latin America than in the States. Telemundo is another example of it.
