Con forums you've been banned from

This may or may not be a common posting here, I don't know, like everyone seems to make a big deal out of I am newer here, to the forums at least so I don't have a clues. But I took the interesting challenge from a couple of my Friends, to see how long I could last on an ultra-conservative forum, I did, and I lasted 10 seconds. So now its a hobby and "The-Cynic" or also "TheAbortionater" has been banned and even emailed to other forum web masters to have ip blockage, and I think its kind of sad....they're that intent on forbidding free speech. I don't curse, whine or insult, not even when I'm stereotyped, (in one case they actually looked my personal info up using my ip, found out I was black, and started using racial slurs and really low brow jokes to respond to my postings....its really childish), and like I've said before, its a hobby of mine.

So without further delay here is my list:

-Land-over Baptist (you have to go there to really see it, its sick, its scary, its just weird)

-And a hell of a lot more that I'd of listed had they not of passed my identity and personal info around, which I've already sued and won on (didn't get money, just embarrassed a couple people), because they passed that info around Conservative web-rings, and that gets around real fast.......

You are a bit braver than I... So what are their reasons for banning you? Were you disruptive? I can understand getting banned for that. Progs and Dems will get tomb-stoned here for being disruptive or simply ignoring the rules.

5. Its because I'm neutral

I get quickly labeled moderate, (I try to be as conservative as I can think) but they still label me as moderate or democrat (I can't think that bad, I try, I really try, but no matter how hard I try I'm always 4 steps above Rush or Sean, or Bill, or any listener for that matter), and then I just give up and say something really bad, (for them) like let's get the hell outa Iraq, or we need a black president (I'd run, I've got the law degrees but I'm in the foreign services), or even worse they'll label me....dud dud dud doooonnnneeee "A LIBERAL!" ouch, thats when I either pack my bags and leave or they send me packing.


Landover is sick, really, I left when they started talking about the morality of having inter-family sexual relationships (what we call incest), it was bad, I said its sick, he said I'm black, I said okay, he said go back to my Cotton farm, I said go lose another civil war, and I was banned....but really the topics there, its morally reprehensible and sick, and from what I understand, there's only 5 or 6 regulars there, and a lot of people all over the net, all of the con sites I've been to condemn the landovers or like to take a smack at them.

I have never posted in a cons. blog or forum...ever. I guess free speech IS an issue for those guys. It is my opinion that fear/anger and lack of enlightenment motivates the folks over at free republic. I would not be able to hang with folks who could be so intolerant as you describe for very long either.

Not quite on topic:
I once wrote a letter to the Christian Science Monitor about the horrors of Depleted Uranium Oxide poisoning. I expected to get blasted or ignored but instead they agreed with my concerns and linked me to an article written by one of their staff reporters on the topic. I would be curious to see what the cons. would say about that. (Or is the CSM too left wing for them too?)

9. Back in the pre- web days, I was actually a moderator of a Freepish board

It was on a BBS network called "Surv-Net" (Surv being short for "survivalist") and it was populated by a wide range of Freeper/militia/white seperatist nutcase types. Somehow I conned my way into moderating the "religious freedom" section of their board, even though they all obviously knew I was far to the Left of the average on that network.

Odd thing though, is that most of the disagreements were civil enough even when one person thought the other was completely insane. Sometimes I wish I had stayed in contact with some of those guys because I'm really curious how they would feel about what Chimpy has done to the country.

I got banned there right after 911 when I challenged all their flag-waving patriotic posts and said bunnypants was a chicken who was out flying around to save his own hide, not the courageous leader they wanted to see him as.

Man, I was outta' there so fast. And I was happy about it, too, because I had suspicious feeling they were a crowd of Bible-thumpers. I know a lot about gardening and I'm not about to waste it on freepers.

In just one post no less. All I did was post about GWB adding the Koran to his White House library and less than 10 minutes later the post was gone and I was banned. :wtf: I guess the truth isn't welcome over there. :shrug:

18. Well, it didn't matter

I labeled all incoming email from them spam, and switch my email account regualerly anyway, just yesterday in fact, so no spam done, although I have gotten death threats, and someone in my own community tracked my old house down (my ip shows up as the dell store next door to my house! I don't know how, but even when Im' back in Bern Switzerland, it still says St. Louis Missouri, so I have nothing to worry about)
