My laptop is going in for warranty service today. They promise a three day turnaround, but I bet I'm back on line in something like three months...

5. When they returned my computer it looked like the...

Samsonite gorilla had had a go at it. The housing was cracked and scratched and the monitor was scratched. I called them and read them the riot act, and they had to install a new monitor and housing. Now my laptop is humming like a cricket and the bottom of it gets scorching hot, so it will be going back during the holidays.

Dammit. :mad:

they do have a quick turnaround...I shipped mine on a Monday and it was back in my hands Friday.
