I turned it on as he was explaining that baghdad and all the other cities in the country were just bustling away......traffic jams and everything! Because, he says, "people now have money to buy cars and do things."

I am like.....THEY HAD THEIR FRIGGIN cars before we came in. He is painting this picture of a society that, before the Great USA came in to save them, that didn't have ANYTHING happening. The place was running like clockwork: utilities on, schools running, people working, people going to the hospital and actually getting care, etc. etc. The place was NOT something like we see in Liberia that has just imploded.

We took the oil ministry after how many days? 14 or less.....I forget.. And we absolutely DECIMATED the country....... And Bremer acts like WE didn't do that...that they were totally at a STALL before we were forced to liberate them.
