Group hug thread

Seems like a lot of people are having family, relationship, or job-related problems today. I just wanted to start a supportive, general group hug thread for everyone, because I think sometimes it just takes a hug or a friendly word to make you feel better.

To those of you who feel alone during the holidays, I so wish I could help you feel not so all alone! I know what it is like to be alone, in a foreign land away from your family, and I think back with kindness on the many Americans who opened up their hearts and their homes to me. So, if I can do the same for you, all you have to do is ask! (you can PM me)

I could sure use some good karma right about now. With the exception of a couple of temp jobs I've been out of work since 2001. Tomorrow I have an audition for a tv sitcom to air in January and this could be my big break. I sure would appreciate some positive thoughts. :-)

I know how it feels to be down and out too, and no being out of work since last fallisn't it for me. So I promised myself I would always be kind those having a rought time of it, whether it's the first time or the 20th.

Thanks. I am going into yet another holiday season alone. Both my parents are passed, I have a brother who will likely spend the holidays with his best friend, several bottles of booze and the back of his eyelids, and I have no SO. You need money for a social life and I have none of either. Also, you need an available pool of candidates for that as well, and there ain't none of that either. Small town, rural, you see.

But don't worry: I ain't near ready for doing something stupid. I just like hugs. Even if they are virtual. ;-)
