The Official 'Territorial Cup' Thread!!!!!!!
Friday! The game of the year, this one is for all the marbles(or last place in the Pac-10). ARIZONA STATE V ARIZONA for the oldest traveling trophy in the history of college football. Forget Michigan v Ohio State, forget Army v Navy, this is by far the best rivalry in college football!!!!!!

2. I'll be sitting at the 45 yard line of the UVa-Tech game
One of my buddies just called me today. That is for the Commonwealth cup, the cup may not be older but Virginia is. As my stepfather, a naitve Virginian, says "It's all Virginia we just let some people run other parts"

Whoo hooo go 'Hoos!

Sadly, I just hope we keep the game close.

6. Well...last year, we got hosed 50-20.
The year before 21-7. 43-17 the year before that. We last won in 1999 after the bonfire tragedy. :-(

Of course when I was a student at A&M (1986-89) we were undefeated against UT.

8. Sadly, this game has lost luster.
Texas considers its biggest rival to be Oklahoma. This game means more to A&M folks than Texas folks, I think.

Sad; when I was a student this was a big game all the way around. Everybody got fired up for it. I think part of it was the bonfire thing. Texas showed a lot of class that year, and now we sorta like each other. Oklahoma could be nuked from the map, and UT fans would cheer (not really, but almost).
