Not talking about the turkey whose hand is hovering over the bird's head.

2. That's not what I read this morning, exactly.
They'll claw each other to death if they're in one of those inhumane turkey factories where they never get to see sunlight and they have other turkeys surrounding them. Birds gotta have breathing room, sunlight, a selection of food that they can decide to eat or not eat. But they don't clip turkey's beaks to keep them from pecking each other. They clip them to keep them from discriminating about their food.
