Since no one has posted cat pictures in a while

This is the newest member of our house . . . his name is Quinn (just because I was listening to Dylan when he was brought into my office).




So far, the other cats in the house don't like him though . . . hopefully they'll come around (any suggestions to make them more accepting would be greatly appreciated).

He's ADORABLE! If I didn't already have four cats and a psychotic Pomeranian, I'd head straight for the nearest animal shelter. The SO would have my stuff packed when I got home, I fear...

What a cute baby. Give the other kitties about two weeks and they'll be fine. The new guy just has to figure out where he stands in the pecking order. Hint: The bottom!

5. This guy is AWESOME

He's so outgoing, friendly and active. He also purrs louder than most adult cats I've seen :)

He's just now getting into solid foods and loves his chicken flavored kitten food.

I think they'll accept him eventually, they keep coming and checking him out, then hissing and going in the other room. I think they'll come around eventually.

13. I have no idea what breed he is.

He came from a lady I work with. Her best friends step-daughter had snuck two kittens into the house and was trying to hide them in her bedroom and raise them. She had this guy and his sister who looks like a black version of Quinn.

Anyway, her mom started wondering why the step-daughter was running up and downstairs at 5:00 AM and why there were little meows coming from the bedroom, so she caught the kittens and made sure they found homes :)

17. They're running around right now

The second night the black Kitty, Cosmo ran around ALL night long. Ricco (the Tabby) likes to chase his brother and then pounce on him. I'm so glad we got them. They've really filled a void since Mickey died.

11. Yellow cat alert!!! You are so brave.

Yellow cats have been known to be....a bit eccentric? We have had two, and the girl child has one. He saved her from a burgler. He ran across her in the dark and landed with a thud in front of her bedroom door. The guy left. Otherwise, he's usually neurotic and on kitty prozac. But, we like him.

There's a festival once a year in this little town. 4 years ago, on the big Friday of the festival, I was leaving for work and thought my cat was outside. I yelled for her to follow me and opened the front door and "she" went in but she turned out to a he who just looked like my cat. Well, he never left and I called him Corndog because that's the food everyone around here just has to eat during the festival. He's the coolest cat, loves dogs and people and has a great personality.

The lady that rescued my kitties sent me these pics of them when they were a few weeks old. She also sent pics of their mama and other siblings. All of the kittens have been adopted including the mom.

I was watching the beginning of Pulp Fiction earlier, and as soon as the music kicked in, he freaked, jumped about 2 feet in the air and fell off the bed :).
