6. Beer and dusting (slowly) and CD's
Edited on Thu Dec-29-05 02:37 PM by lyonn
Just remind yourself you could be at work. When I was working that is how I dealt with boredom. It works. Tell yourself it is OK to do nothing but what you want, be it DU or whatever.

Edit: Sorry Gizmo, I didn't realise you were a guy. Forget the dusting. My husband just got back from visiting Bro. in Kewaunee and he said it was truly dreadfully cold up there. Apparently keeping warm is a big thing along with the beer.

8. PC games, helloooooo...
I have a kid, so I am not really bored I guess (I'm off for the week too) but I've been thinking about getting Sims or Civilization or something to pass the time.

After my @^&#^!!! headache goes away.

11. I love PC games too
Edited on Thu Dec-29-05 03:07 PM by Liberalynn
Bejewled is fun on MSN and Pogo has some good games. Has anyone joined their paid club from their site? It says it is secure but I just wondered if anyone had any first hand experience?

Also Play Station Games are great. I love the Spyro games although I am stuck on 85 percent on the newest one.

Reading is my best get away from boredom though. That and bugging my dog. LOL.

Have you tried reading the Daily Howler or Altercation? My time gets burned up on DU because I write 200 word replies and make an attempt at thoughtfulness, but I want to be a paperback writer. Check out the books forum for reading list ideas.
