Crook of the Day
It was a good day for our loss prevention people--they got to bust a shoplifter while the district loss prevention manager was in the store.

This guy stole four $30 hammers. They always ask why the person took the stuff, and this one said he needed to buy a new alternator for his car because his car broke down, and if he couldn't drive to work he was going to get fired.

When asked for ID, the guy pulled out a state-issued ID card. He's never had a driver's license.
