With all the recent bitching and moaning...

I thought I would post something positive for a change! Even though my life has definitely not been all rosey, I have had several good things happen lately, and one is thanks to DU!

I had a post a couple of weeks ago complaining there were no decent men in Florida, where I moved to less than 2 years ago. Well, I had several very nice DU men email me, and one in particular who I have been conversing with regularly. We are hoping to meet sometime in December! I'm really excited about that. And no, I'm not telling who, unless he wants to 'fess up to it. :c)

Secondly, I just spent a fabulous weekend with my best friend, whom I do not get to see nearly enough. We had a great time, and it was fun having someone else in the house besides myself and the two cats. We also took lots of photos (we both do BBW modeling), so if you want to see a pic, just send me your email. :)

Thirdly, another good friend is coming down from Maine to visit for Thanksgiving. Being a former professional chef, I love to cook, and have not had the chance much since I moved here. So I'm really looking forward to that! I'm sure we will have a great time, as we get along really well and always have alot of fun, even if it is just sitting and snuggling on the couch while watching a movie.

Finally, I just got word that our department is moving into our new office building. We are getting more space and my office will have an outside window! Sunlight! Yay!

See, it doesn't really take much to make me happy. Just good friends, a little fun, and some sunshine. :c)
