6. I worked with a guy who got Sarcoid meningitis |

While working on my Ph. D. I was in a parasitology lab, and the lab manager got sarcoid meningitis. Took a year of steroid injections and spinal taps to get him better. In the meantime, the faculty member we worked for sent him out to collect Crypto samples with a disfunctional immune system! D'OH!

Having had it once, I know. Worst goddamned headache EVER. It hurt to blink my eyes, and walking was absolute agony. I was so f-ing happy when I finally got over it.

The guy i worked with had double vision. He said when they performed a spinal tap it actually came out UNDER PRESSURE-it spurted!
