If a blind date pulled up to your door |
|
in a 1976 Honda Civic
would you have a different reaction than if he pulled up
in a 1998 Jag?

2. Yeah, I would be impressed that he had the self confidence |
|
to drive that, as opposed to borrowing friends/dads/uncles car

i don't date men so it's not a valid question.. :silly:
But i really could give a rat's ass about what type of car someone drives as long as it isn't some idiotic 8,000 pound SUV. I spent so much money on cars in my youth it's scary, and now i just want something that looks ok and is comfy with enough room for my stuff. Although when i get a house with a garage i will commence with the building of a fire-breathing street demon from hell.

I'd think he was honest, hard-working and doesn't waste money.

9. Frankly, I'd ask why he drove up to my door instead of the driveway. |

10. Yes--the Jag would freak me out. |
|
I :loveya: Jaguars.
But if a blind date came to get me in one, I must admit that I'd have a few preconceived notions and I'd start feeling uncomfortable, like I wouldn't be able to 'keep up'.
I'd see the guy in the Honda and not even think about the car for a second.
Hmm.

11. My blind date pulled up in an AMC Gremlin |

and we have now been together for more than twenty years. It did give me pause when I saw it but she explained immediately that it was a loaner.
