On every level, the ideals of a true "compassionate" have been deligitamized for the purpose of ending any and all hopes for a decent nation. This medicare bill is but another example of a successful end to the notion of a protective net for citizens who haven't sufficient means to buy a "luxury" item. Every institution that depends on taxpayers; welfare, medicare, education, environment, social security, etc., are under attack and will fall in 4 more years of bushco. The only tax fed institution that is swimming in $ is the military. This experiment by the republicans is almost complete. So what will this nation look like when it's over? The right wing of the republican party has been a complete success, for their wants. We are now a minor irratant that could be eliminated soon. The FCC under powell will cause all media to resemble faux and our voice will dim even more, as evidenced by where we communicate today (du). And for these reasons I've noticed a rising level of anger and dispare amongst us. On occassion we attack eachother (displaced anger), because we can't get at the source of our frustrations. But I say, anger is exactly where we need to be. I might even suggest that there isn't enough anger yet. But let's temper that anger and direct it where it needs to go.

1. When we are on the floor praying to

someone's elses idea of god, compulsary, three times a day. When the U.S. looks like Dickensonian England, when there are work houses, poor farms, and only two classes, then the right may be happy. I doubt it, but, they may be happy.

2. They will never be happy

There will never be enough power or money to satisfy the right. They are like the Crystaline Entity that scoops up all life from a planet to feed it's primal urge for sustenance. It has no soul and there is no limit to it's need.

3. The only hope

that I can see is that the entire world is rejecting this crusade. It's the right wing vs. everyone else on the planet. Will this be enough to foil their plans?

4. No matter what we do

the world doesn't have enough balls to stop them. They control the US military and thus control the world.
