The official White House Christmas card
Finally after three years W can color inside the lines. Not too bad.

The design of the official White House Christmas card, bearing a Crawford, Texas postmark, will be mailed to friends and family of President and Mrs. Bush, as well as foreign dignitaries starting Friday, Nov. 28, 2003. This years card was designed by artist Barbara Ernst Prey of Oyster Bay, N.Y., and depicts the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House. The design is a watercolor painting of the fireplace and decorated mantle of the Diplomatic Reception Room during the holidays. The Diplomatic Reception Room served as the furnace room of the White House until 1902; it now serves as an entrance to the White House from the South Grounds for family and visiting dignitaries. 4. The only cool thing about it is bush and pickles aren't in the chairs!
I wouldn't have minded seeing Barney, though; haven't seen much of him since he was dropped on the tarmac.

5. Beautiful card. It's a real pity realizing who lives there.
The White House is a dignified national treasure. Let's hope that we can evict the current occupants and bring some people in who will do the mansion proud again.

6. Booooring!
I know our beloved pResident had nothing to do with the design of the card, but geez louise that card is so conservative, so boring, almost depressing. Norman Rockwell would be bored by it.

28. I love Photoshop!
Anything you can think of, you can create in Photoshop. I took a 2 day seminar in it and I eally should take the second part--but it's exensive and I got the company I worked for to pay for it. I'd have to pay for it out of my own pocket this time. Maybe I'l just have to slog my way through a Photoshop book.

Thanks for the oompliment. Check out my George Bush cartoon site:

I use Photoshop but mainly just to put in thought balloons and such.

One of them rolling on the floor in her own vomit would be cool while the other pulls up her shirt for the camera like "Girls Gone Wild".

16. I see the power play in the chairs and their arrangement
Why would you invite a guest over and put them in a subservient position? Look at those chairs and their arrangement. It's subtle, but the left one is slightly bigger and angled to project power. The dominant chair is slightly pulled back from the interaction. Then, what kind of human being does not include life in a Christmas card. I think the selection of this card gives more information about *'s character than he wants us to know.

All the George W. Bush ones I've seen have a kind of distant, cold appearance.

Some past cards for comparison.

Maybe because the twins and the dogs can't stand to be in the same room with their parents.

40. What? No personal letter? Here's my lame attempt:
"Dear friends,

It's been another great year for the Bush family, almost as wonderful as 2001!

We managed to kill over 430 parents of American children this year, and there is no telling how many Iraqi children we have orphaned. But that is no problem as they don't believe in Jesus anyway and Santa won't be going to their homes!

We appreciate our good friends who tried to buy up all those copies of magazines with pics of the Twins falling down drunk. It's hard to catch them all even though we control 99% of the media."

Okay, someone else needs to finish the letter. I'm not very good at this.
