Greetings from Concord, CA.. I am Frrrreeeezing to death
Edited on Tue Nov-25-03 02:50 PM by SoCalDem
Brrrrrr.. My son keeps his house at 68 and I am soooo cold.. I knew it would be fairly cool up here, but I figured I would be indoors most of the time, so I did not bring very warm clothing.. Little did I know that he is stingy with the heat :)

Luckily, he & his Dad have been out wandering during the day, and his wife is working this week, so when they are gone , I bump up the heat :)..

We have TWO blankets on the bed and I still slept in a bathrobe last night..

It feels weird to not be cooking Thanksgiving dinner for the first time in 30 odd years..:)

Their house is so nice.. I am actually inspired to get busy on my "mess form hell" house when I get home.. Of course lots of things I want to do are still impossible , since we are the poor ones in this family :):).. But maybe I can get a little motivated..

for me.. In fact to even get the post to show up, I have to click on the time modified column.. When I refresh, the whole post disappears, and wneh I click the modified time link, it shows up, but as zero replies..

I am using my daughter-in-law's computer and IE.. How odd.. All the forums are weird too.. I hit mark, and the lobby icon shows grey, but inside the forums, all the folders are yellow, even though I hit mark..

9. Hey - careful there - I own the trademark on sequential "r"s
It's part of my "branding" which I have "leveraged" in order to "earn" more "market share"; and since I have not asked for a "synergistic" "market plan" with "other" "competitors", your usage constitutes trademark violation. How am I to continue to do business if anyone can copy my unique "brand" and "trademark"? I cannot, just like the poor downtrodden record companies are losing value through illegal copyright infringement. You used 4 in "frrrreezing" and a rabrrrrrr-congruent *6* in "brrrrrr." Please cease and desist all sequential "r" usage. When will th e madness end? Are even our names no longer sacred? :spank:

Sorry to hear it's so cold, though. It's somewhat warm in NYC, and it's just wrong wrong wrong. Today is colder than yesterday, but it's still not proper Thanksgiving cold. But it's still below 68. :-)
