Favorite Male Form?
Edited on Tue Nov-25-03 04:00 PM by corarose
Do you like the body builder Arnold Schwarzenegger look or the scrawny Barney Fife body?

Or

Realistic:
Chubby
Beer Belly
Etc.

Or

Johnny Depp

Arnold makes me want to :puke:.

2. I prefer the Magic Rat look
5-10, 180lbs, curly black hair, dark brown eyes, looks a lot like Jason Biggs and has a nice round bottom that seems to attract both women and men. :D

6. Changing preferences from a changing society?
I recently took a side job doing modeling. I'm 6'2" and 150, and there's more of a demand for male models with that build, even in adult work of all places.

It's odd how tastes change. If you look at a magazine ad or a Playboy from as recently as the late 1980s, you'll see fuller-figured women and muscular men. Perhaps the shift in preference for male forms comes from the feminization of society and the change in preference in the female form is from the male backlash?

12. The Rock is a Republican? I don't think so.
I know he spoke to the GOP convention, but that was part of a public service program the WWE runs. They also had someone (Kurt Angle?) at the Democratic convention but I don't think they were offered a televised speaking slot.

16. Body hair?
The "thing" used to be models that were burly or at least with some chest hair and a slight "jewel line." Now all the agencies and photographers want everything shaved clean.

17. "Women's choice of men goes in cycles"
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/376321.stm

"Women are attracted to more masculine-looking men at the most fertile time of their menstrual cycle, psychologists have shown.

During the less fertile times, they choose men with more feminine-looking faces. These are seen as kinder and more co-operative, but less strong and healthy genetically.

A controversial implication of the new research is that, in evolutionary terms, it is natural for a woman to be unfaithful in order to secure both the best genes and the best carer for her children.

This is because a less masculine-looking man may be a better long-term partner, but the strongest, healthiest children would be produced by a quick fling with a more masculine-looking man."

20. Oh baby! Long and lean for me all the way--most of the way, anyway.
I have been known to be attracted to all different kind of guys, but the kind I usually go for are tall and slender (sigh, sometimes I bet I weigh more than they do!).

Adrien Brody is the poster child for the kind of form I gravitate towards.
