I have a 4 year old nephew, he loved Blues Clues when he was 2. Now he has moved on to Bob the Builder and Pokemon. :-)

5. Steve gets a lot of underwear |
|
mailed to him. Female panties I mean. Saw him say it on an interview. Seems a bit out there to imagine all these grateful moms mailing panties to Steve....

6. My family saw Steve at Lincoln Center |
|
We went to see an outdoor concert that our daughter, Sophie, who was 3 at the time, was not patient enough to sit still for. So we went back toward Julliard behind the reflecting pool in front of the Vivian Beaumont theater where some sculptures were temporarily being displayed and which became a makeshift playground for Sophie. At one point I turned around for some reason to look up at the people who were gathering on the wall next to the sort of plaza above 67th Street that connects Lincoln Center and Julliard. I saw this guy with short dark hair and long sideburns and I said to myself, "Wow! That guy looks like he's trying to look like Steve. What a funny look for a young guy to go for." And then it really hit me. My god, that is Steve!
He was extremely lovely, as my wife would say. My wife mouthed "We love you!" and he looked genuinely touched. He held his hands over his heart as if to say thank you. He blew a kiss to Sophie, who was just squealing with delight. It was a truly magical New York moment.
