1. I am meeting my sister boyfriend for the first time Thursday.
I've been told he is very conservative & I am to be nice.
I cannot believe my sister is really with a freeper.

"Thank you Lord for allowing us to be here in our own home instead of being sent overseas to engage in the hostilities overseas and please watch over the men and women who are serving their country and do not blame them for the actions of the politicians that sent them there for false purposes."

4. LOL! Maybe I will. They'll KNOW I'm being sarcastic.
But then, we love each other anyway.;)

(We just have to avoid discussions about politics)

7. Be sure to recite the following Thanksgiving prayer:
We are thankful that OUR leader isn’t the spoiled son of a powerful politician from a wealthy oil family who is supported by religious fundamentalists, operates through clandestine organizations, has no respect for the democratic electoral process, bombs innocents, and uses war to deny people their civil liberties.

(taken from Boondocks Thanksgiving Day strip 2001)
