'Lo, Lounge. It's been a bit, eh?

Thought I'd share a little run I did into the high country near Colorado's Red Mountain Pass, elevation a lot. ;)
Posed for next year's Festivus cards with the huskies:


...but actually was on a good walk with my girlfriend, the huskies, and the spaniel. Snowpack turned nasty the next day, but was still stable when we went out:


...that's me, sporting the snappy pink leash. And, in case you thought I was husky-centric, fear not. The cavalier king charles had a lovely time. Below, a rare photo where he wasn't just a tail in the powder:


More later, although I can't imagine I'll get another whole day to myself, what with the 17 year-old expecting in May. :)

That looks like a lot of fun. I just did a giant-ass twelve mile loop x-country skiing on Grand Mesa when I was in CO for Christmas. The snow was awe-insipiring up there.
