15. Hubby's 1st fireworks

At least that he remembers. They all went to the fairgrounds and of course it was all a big deal. The shed where the fireworks were stored caught fire or something and fireworks were shooting in the air, into the stands, people were running and screaming.

He couldn't figure out why people wanted to go to something like that.

. . .the video of the rocket fuel plant explosion in Utah? It was on one of those Discovery or TLC shows about man-made disasters.

The camera was on a hill about a mile away and with almost no warning, KABOOM! You clearly see the supersonic wavefront in a perfect torroid come from the building and then the whole thing becomes a giant ball of flames.

It doesn't last as long as this fireworks video, but it is equally amazing.
