JERK Would you let one ruin your night?
I had the best compliment in the world tonight from one of my Chefs at Culinary College.

I baked three loafs of bread and she asked me If she could take them home and serve them for Thanksgiving Dinner.

Now that's a compliment!

I WON'T LET A JACK ASS RUIN MY NIGHT EITHER AND HE KNOWS WHO HE IS.

1. Yes, unfortunatly, all the time
I am a retail manager and I have to deal with crazy, rude, ignorant , stupid people all the time. I can't let it bother me when I'm with the customer (I'm from the customer is always right school), so I let it bother me on the inside for the rest of the night.

BTW, that sounds like some great bread! Congratulations!

4. Thanks
I made Sour Dough, Chiabbata & Challah bread. I made some rolls from myself because I don't need all that bread in the house.

I love Bread and I have only made the 3 types that she took home tonight twice so it was a major compliment.

She wants to serve my bread at a large family gathering and she is a Pastry Chef that's a compliment.

5. I feel sorry for retail management
I did my time in the retail trenches (never management), and there's a growing number of people who follow the school of thought that "the customer is always right" means "the customer can be an abusive asshole and get what they want".

Anyone in retail management deserves a friggin' medal.
