Now it's time to say good night
Edited on Wed Nov-26-03 02:51 AM by BurtWorm
Good night sleep tight
Now the sun turns out his light
Good night sleep tight
Dream sweet dreams for me
Dream sweet dreams for you.

Close your eyes and I'll close mine
Good night sleep tight
Now the moon begins to shine
Good night sleep tight
Dream sweet dreams for me
Dream sweet dreams for you.

Close your eyes and I'll close mine
Good night sleep tight
Now the sun turns out his light
Good night sleep tight
Dream sweet dreams for me
Dream sweet dreams for you.

Good night good night everybody
Everybody everywhere
Good night.

Not just yet - this is only a short break - we've got a plane to catch early tomorrow afternoon; and house and critters still to get ready for the critter sitter to come in while we're gone.

The kidlet is seriously dragging her feet about the whole thing; so we had to do all her "chores" as well the rest of them. At least she got herself packed - but she required some serious adult supervision during the packing event; went out of her way to call us in and make us pay attention to her. (Guess she wanted it to be like a "family time" game - halt everything for an hour and a half or so and watch the kidlet pack...)
I'm not used to it. When it's just me, or me and hubby, it only takes a few hours to get the cages cleaned, garbage tossed, dishes cleaned and put up, house put away, critter food put out, litter box moved to the frontroom and care/feeding instructions posted on the wall for the sitter, lists made, and cases packed. Looks as if the next time we do this, we start a couple days in advance.

Heck with it. There's about two more hours of work to do, but at least the worst is done - the cages cleaned and set up for "long term self-care"; we're tired and have to get up early to get the dog to the kennel and a spare key for the sitter to get in made to replace the one the kidlet lost in her cave.
I still have to get up at what would be normal "go to work" time. Bleah.

Night all...

Haele
